Anna Richardson has had many years working with wild plants as food and medicine. She has worked closely with experts in the field and enjoys passing on the knowledge and practical uses of foraging. She currently works at the university of Sussex as a CCE tutor, teaching a course in 'wild plants and their ancient uses'. She also works with children at a local school as a forest school teacher.
On this foraging day, Anna will be your guide to the wild plants in this area. Discover some of the old ways of working with our native plants for food, medicine and other practical uses. The morning will be spent walking through the landscape and gathering seasonally available plants for these purposes and then spending time preparing and making things round the fire in the afternoon.
Cost is £25 per person, advance booking and payment essential. Contact Alice on camping@wowo.co.uk, 01825 723414
