Transition Forest Row Storytelling Group Arise!!!

The Transition Forest Row Storytelling Group has been having a rest since its inception - lying fallow and waiting for the speech of the trees, and the stories themselves to decide how they want to move and groove in our Forest. A number of us did some really good work in this area before the forming of the tfr groups in May.

This early work arose out the Forest Row Storytelling Festival in National Storytelling Week 2008. As Group coordinator I think it's time for me to buck up my ideas and get things moving again.

It's great help for a group to have a common purpose, something to take hold of together and I have a proposal for the tfr Storytelling Group to do with Forest Row and National Storytelling Week 2009. The 9th Annual National Storytelling Week is from 31 January - 7 February 2009).

As a first step I will email the existing members of the group and some others I know are interested, with my proposal. I'm off to Crete to Stella Kassimati's Amari storytelling Centre on Tuesday 26 August and am back on 5th September when I'll follow this up with more information.
