Swapping our saved seeds in the community from local plants carry an innate, indigenous intelligence as our plants localise and adapt to the climate and soil composition of this place and over time become a native.  This event in some ways is at the heart of an awakened community.  When we learn the value of a localised or heirloom plant, then saving and sharing its seeds becomes a passion!  The community broadens its base of localised plant diversity and we enrich each other through this free…See More

Friends in Forest Row,

You might have heard about Forest Row Conservation Society, or Forest Row Forest Gardens.  Both are initiatives to increase biodiversity, community connectivity, and our wealth of natural resource in Forest Row.  In time, we see a canopy of interconnected green spaces in and around Forest Row, be it our gardens, alleyways, or purposefully designed forest gardens, all in a network that give and receive, seeds, saplings, trees, shrubs, herbs, vegetables, and…

Hi Pupak,
It is an interesting space yes. Sort of lots of virtual air to breathe! Mike can advise you on the pic. Are you going to arrange a get together for Business Group? Do you know I've joined? Orit might be interested too. Love, Annette

to upload a photo go to 'My Page' then under the icon there is a link to 'Change My Photo'

Perhaps the photo you tried to upload was too large. If it is that and you need help to make it smaller email it to me.

Thank you Pupak, both for the flattering message and the invitation to join the group. As I said when we met at Emerson today, I'm abroad on 3 Feb, so can't join you then. But let me know when you're meeting again thereafter, and if I can come, I shall. Then we can find out if your belief that I can make a useful contribution is justified or not! Till soon, I hope, Hugh

Hi Pupak

Ashley Ramsden says you are the contact person for story telling in the One Village event.

The Story Weavers are recent graduates from the School of Storytelling. We have a programme of stories 'How Does Your Garden Grow?'. We have performed this successfully twice and would be interested in performing it for the One Village event. Is there any room in the programme? The performance contains poetry, stories and readings all about gardens, gardeners and gardening. Do contact me on 01444 892949 Sue Nelson
