A SWARM OF BEES!! HOW CAN WE HELP THEM?
Dear Fellow Residents of Ashurstwood, East Grinstead and Forest Row
The time of year when honeybee colonies start swarming will be upon us soon. If you have never witnessed the exciting spectacle of a swarm of bees in the air, the experience can be a little unsettling. But there is nothing to worry about. The bees in swarm mood are generally at their most gentle and will not attack you. The bees are looking for a new home, and swarming is their natural way of reproducing.
You might also come across a swarm when the bees have already clustered, and are hanging like a cluster of grapes from a branch or on your garden fence. Please call one of the following people as soon as you can and we will do our best to find a good home for the bees.
Heidi Herrmann 01342-822101 Mob. 07925-372524
Catriona Fagan 07837-488813
Michael Kientzler 01342-826278
Penny Crowder 822224
Please pass this message on to all your friends to help the bees.
With many thanks from the Natural Beekeeping Trust
