Nigel in Transition from Hay Media on Vimeo.
Is Transition all well-attended events and hugely successful projects? Well no. The concept of ‘celebrating failure’ and being honest about what works and doesn’t work is a key part of it, as is sharing those experiences and the learnings from it.
‘Nigel in Transition’ documents one man’s journey as he clumsily attempts to help set up a Transition Town in a small rural community - Hay on Wye.
Made with the active involvement of the good people of Hay-on-Wye, the film features the former Welsh environment minister, an angry grocer, a bunch of hippies and a surreal supporter of willow basketry.
A high-resolution version of the film (including in Welsh) is available for community screenings.
